A candle once lit becomes melted wax.
A light bulb will eventually burn out.
Just as the sun rises and falls, every light man has made will loose it’s shine.
But there is a light that shines bright for the world to see. A light that never burns out and is always on.
This light was given to us in the form of a man. A man that would make the ultimate sacrifice for a world full of hate and sin.
What a gift we have in Jesus Christ.
He has placed a light in each and every one of us. A light that has the power to shine through us forever. A light that draws the sins of man towards it to cast them out.
A light that the world needs.
A light you were called to be. What better season than this to let your light emanate before all men.
As we all prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, let it be a reminder of the gift of salvation He has given us.
So let us emulate the life of Christ and let our light shine bright before all men.
This cold and dark world needs it.

“Father thank you for the light of the Holy Spirit. Help me to find strength in you to continue to shine in the midst of all darkness. Reminding the world the reason for the season. And the reason for our very existence...to glorify you Father. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.” |
