God is so good.
I know you haven’t realized this week’s devotional’s have been a bit late getting out.
I have been called to weather quite the storm. Things have been extremely tight (financially) and tough for me lately.
God gave me instruction to take certain action last week. And I did it.
This week I have been experiencing, first hand, God’s “all of a sudden” blessing. He has literally overwhelmed me with opportunity.
In the matter of 3 days I have gone from lack to abundance. From trying to get picked to being put in a position to choose.
All from being obedient and devoted to the word of God.
It has been exhausting but amazing at the same time.
I want to encourage you today in God’s power of promotion. No matter how good you are and how hard you work, it is God that will provide the increase.
No man can block it, and no man can give it. True promotion comes from the Lord.
His promotion is not limited to a geographical location, nor is it specific to a certain industry of work. Your willingness to release faith and walk in obedience is what calls His promotion power to action in your life.
I know things may be hard right now. Maybe you are just at the beginning of your faith leap. But take heart in knowing that in due season, all things will work out for your good.
The feeling you have in the end will be greater than any pain you experience throughout the process. It is truly worth it.
So if you are looking for increase in your life be sure you are looking up.
That’s the only direction you should expect your promotion to come from.

“Lord thank you for the promise of increase on my life. No longer do I give my boss control over when I get a raise. I will not place my faith in impressing hiring managers to get a new job. My faith is in you only. I know you are the one that moves the hearts of men. It is your favor on my life that allows me to receive what I don’t deserve. And your faithfulness to me ensures that my faith will be honored by you with a great reward. And I receive it all. In Jesus name…Amen.” |
