Revelations 2:2-3 - All Knowing “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.” (Revelations 2:2-3 NIV)
by Chris
The good and the bad - the sins seen and the ones done in secret.
He knows it all.
This can be a word of encouragement or a challenging word depending on where you are in your walk.
If you’re enduring in faith...
God has seen every sacrifice and is paying attention to every deed. He is aware of your inability to tolerate sin in your life for prolonged periods of time.
He is paying attention with your reward in hand.
If you have fallen away...
God knows exactly where you stand and the condition of your heart. He knows how far away from His covering you have fallen and how bad you need to turn from your ways.
He has not forsaken you, He is waiting on you.
Whatever the situation; God knows what you have gone through, what you’re going through, and what the future has to hold.
It’s never too late to turn to Him. Both for the weary and the calloused at heart.
God isn’t as concerned as what you have done in the past as much as you are. He’s a forward thinking God with a focus on your destination.
So keep fighting the good fight and endure until the end. Finding strength in the Lord at times when your flesh grows weary.
Wether you are experiencing victory in Christ, or are having a hard time believing in Christ.
God knows, and He’s willing to accept you just as you are. As long as you are willing to turn back to Him and keep pushing.
Lets pray...
“Father, I know you understand all that I have ever gone through. Forgive me for thinking my sins were specific to me alone. I find total confidence in your redeeming blood that there is no length I can fall away from you that salvation cannot reach. Thank you for all the victories in your name you have allowed me to see. In Jesus name I pray...Amen”
