What if it were really true?
That though your struggle is real now, it will only last for so long. At the appointed time it will fade away and release its anguish from your life.
Do you really believe that?
Or do your trials seem to just go on and on? When one ends another begins. Making it appear as if you are just continually going through in life.
This weekend my Pastor likened this process to child bearing. The closer the contractions the closer it is to delivery time. Providing a good perspective when pains and trials seem to be back to back.
"The closer the pains the closer the blessing."
My previous Pastor would always tell us…
“Don’t make a permanent decision in a temporary situation.”
You see it’s not a matter of if the scripture is true, it’s about enduring until you see the truth in the scripture manifest.
Whatever you’re going through (good or bad) will last only a moment. More importantly it’s the favor of God that you should rejoice over.
The favor of the Lord is upon you and will outlast any trial or struggle you will ever face in your life.
It will never run out or be overshadowed by your trials.
Lets pray…
“Lord thank you for the favor on my life. I know you choose to discipline and test me out of love. Though it hurts I know it is for my good. I receive the lifelong favor all over my life and decide to walk in it daily. I know whatever comes my way the victory is mine in Christ Jesus. Amen.” |
