STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Meet our April Student of the month - Addie Usher!

Addie has been learning under the guidance of instructor Abigail Nash. Abi has this to say about her student:

"Addie has been studying piano for the past few months. While she may be new to MCMA, she is not new to piano! Prior to moving to Maine, she studied for a few years with a different teacher, and began lessons with some experience. In just a few weeks, she quickly regained her skill at piano, and since then has been improving rapidly! Currently, she is working on learning all 24 major/minor scales two octaves and beginning to play additional songs outside of her lesson book.

Addie exemplifies so many wonderful qualities in her learning- dedication, perseverance, openness to suggestions and ideas, and comes to each lesson extremely prepared. Anything new that is given to her she happily takes on and works hard at it! Her progress in the last four months is incredible, and we can't wait to see where she'll be in the next four months!"
