| Greetings all! Midcoast Music Academy, a community music school in Rockport, Maine, is thrilled to offer Music Together classes as an independent center! We have been working closely with Jessica Day, who lovingly created Midcoast Music Together, and provided stellar early childhood music and movement classes across the Midcoast for the past twelve years. MCMA is honored to be stepping into Jess's shoes to carry on her work. | | TRY A FREE CLASS!
Tomorrow, Friday September 10, we are offering a free demo class with our Music Together teacher Ursula Crosslin from 10-10:45 at our studio in Rockport, Maine. We would love for you to come, view our space, meet the instructor, and see if the class is a right fit for you and your child! Space is limited- if you would like to attend, be sure to RSVP with our Office Manger, Maddy Siletti. | | | | | | | This fall, we will be offering Mixed-Aged Classes starting the week of September 20, taught by certified Music Together teacher Ursula Crosslin. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience! New this semester- a group piano class for students aged 4-6! Children will learn to think musically by listening, improvising, moving, singing, and playing. During each forty-five minute group lesson, students will move through a variety of activities and experience many different kinds of music with their ears, eyes, and whole bodies. Additionally, this class is free to students living in the RSU #13 District thanks to the Davis Family Foundation! For full details, click the button below! | |
