Final Day to Register!

Our exciting collaboration with the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA), our special two-week art/music intensive Sōnarts, starts next week!

Are you a teen musician and/or artist? Are you a teen that loves music and art but maybe never had the chance to experience much art or music?

Or do you know a teen that fits this description?

If so- read on! This message is for you 😀

Just a little bit about the camp.

Starting next Monday, two fantastic teaching artists (Tom Luther and Annie Bailey) are teaching a hands-on, collaborative, student-led arts/music camp for teens aged 13-18! Joining forces with us (MCMA), the students will work in the Center for Maine Contemporary Art's (CMCA) beautiful working gallery space.

Together, the artists and musicians will create an interactive, performance based art piece. Students will work with the teaching artists to create an outdoor instrument installation, which produces sound activated by audience participation. The final product will include a public performance hosted at the CMCA as the final act of Porchfest, a musical walking tour of Rockland hosted by MCMA!

Teaching artists Tom Luther (MCMA) and Annie Bailey (CMCA) conduct a planning sessions for Sōnarts in one of CMCA's galleries.
