Be sure to check out our ensemble offerings as well! We have some exciting new options this year, including a new musical theater class! | | | | | | | Music Together at MCMA Midcoast Music Academy is thrilled to offer Music Together classes as an independent center! We have been working closely with Jessica Day, who lovingly created Midcoast Music Together, and provided stellar early childhood music and movement classes across the Midcoast for the past twelve years. MCMA is honored to be stepping into Jess's shoes to carry on her work. This fall, we will be offering Mixed-Aged Classes starting the week of September 20, taught by certified Music Together teacher Ursula Crosslin. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience!
