Blues Intensive, July 5-11 | An immersive experience in all things blues -- the history, the style, and the music of legends like John Lee Hooker and Big Mama Thornton -- culminating in a once in a lifetime opportunity as students take the big stage at the North Atlantic Blues Festival (however that looks this year). |

| | Are you ready to rock? MidCoast Rec Center (MRC) and MCMA are teaming up to provide an awesome new experience. Develop a set list, choose amazing tunes, improve your skills, and rock out in MRC’s huge arena. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy active indoor and outdoor games during down time in this amazing facility. |

| Jazz Intensive, August 2-6 | This exciting program offers young musicians the chance to dive deep into all things jazz. Students will listen, play, improvise, create, and record in a supportive, fun setting. |

| Sōnarts: A Collaborative Camp for Musicians and Artists, Aug. 9-20 | This summer, MCMA and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) are combining to create a unique two-week summer camp experience. Student artists and musicians will collaborate to create an interactive, performance based art piece. Students will work with teaching artists to create an interactive element, using visual and audio narratives. Open equally to musicians (any instrument) and artists. |
