Santiago Theological Seminary
Santiago Theological Seminary (STS) is progressing well, with 40 students currently studying hermeneutics (Bible interpretation). Bruce will be traveling to Santo Domingo to teach Oct. 23 at Ramon Sosa's church, followed by teaching STS students and preaching in Santiago, Dominican Republic until the 27th.
Foundations for Reformation of our Faith: Why the Five Solas Still Matter Today

Bruce wrote the above book for the STS students and other church leaders. His book manuscript is currently being reviewed by a publisher that also has a Spanish language division. Pray for its publication and eventual translation to Spanish.
REF Conference
Thank you for your prayers for our mission's conference in Birmingham, AL in July. It was a great blessing to hear the great preaching, to fellowship with like-minded missionaries, and to meet with partners on the way there and back.
"Show hospitality to one another without grumbling."

Kaleah Starting towards Adoption!

Praise God that Kaleah's birth mother has agreed to give up her parental rights, opening the door for us to adopt her. We are excited about bringing her into our family officially, as we have already been her foster parents for over 15 months. Recently Kaleah has learned to walk. Finalizing adoption will take perhaps 6-12  months.

Liberian Student to Start Seminary

Robert Luqui, a church planter and graduate of African Bible College Univ. in Liberia, is planning on starting seminary in January in Philadelphia. Robert came to know the Lord in 2006 while Bruce preached at the new church plant of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church in Monrovia. Bruce has been helping him with arrangements and plans to be equipped for training church planters in Liberia.
Prayer Requests

·       Kaleah's adoption process will proceed smoothly and in a timely way.
·       Bruce's teaching and preaching Oct. 23-27 in Dominican Republic.
·       Bruce teaching and evangelism in Mexico City Nov. 15-19, followed by teaching a course on missions at a seminary in Villahermosa and speaking to the Presbyterian seminary leaders of Mexico 19-23.
·       Bruce's second daughter, Abby, marriage to a believer, Aaron, from Philadelphia, January 18 in Dominican Republic. We are very happy for them.
·       Mercredi seeking the Lord while studying at Haverford College. Praise that he is doing well in his studies and socially.
·       Robert Luqui be provided funding needed for seminary studies.
·       Our financial support being completed.
