Subject: should you take that offer? 👇🤔

 Friend,

You look at your diary..

Pros and Cons written on both sides.

Should you take that new job offer?

Should you instead negotiate with your boss for a promotion?

Or

Is it time to pivot in your career completely?

You can't sleep because of it.

And with so many options in front of you,

You're paralyzed by the sheer number of choices, like a 3 year old in a candy shop…

I get it.

And here's the easiest solution for confusion:

Doing nothing is the real enemy.

When you have too many options,

It’s tempting to wait...

To hope for clarity...

To keep analysing until the right choice appears...

(Like a magic)

But that rarely happens.

So, here’s what you can do next:

1. Pick one direction that feels slightly more "right".

2. Go ahead and take that decision.

3. Accept whatever happens from there.

I know, this sounds a little too "rash".

But here's the thing...

Taking a decision requires less than a minute.

Yet it has been costing you days & weeks...

So, you might as well pick the one that feels slightly more right...

And then go forward from there.

If the decision you took was wrong, then take another one.

Repeat, until you've taken the right decision.

The key is to move forward, even if it’s an inch at a time.

So, to conclude,

  • Don't get overwhelmed by options

  • Doing nothing is the real enemy - so act as soon as you gather basic facts about all the options in hand.

  • Don't waste 2 months over a decision that takes less than 2 minutes to take.
