You go to a networking event.

Well dressed.

Followed all the networking etiquette.

Had a lot of meaningful conversations.

Exchanged contacts.

And then...

You get back home & carry on with your life.

Delusionally hoping that one of these people will come to you with a life-

changing opportunity...

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but that NEVER happens :(

If you don't have a system to stay in touch with new connections then,

don't waste time going to these networking events.

You're better off staying home in your pajamas & watching Netflix.

Networking doesn't end when you get home...

In fact, it begins there...

So what's the solution?

Here's a 2-step strategy to stay in touch with new connections:

1) Send them a follow-up message immediately after going home.

2) Maintain 1 touch point with them every 30 days.

Easy.

This is when networking starts working for you...

You'll be flooded with new opportunities, jobs & references.

Now...
