There are ONLY 2 types of bosses...
Type #1 People Focused: they regularly show up in team meetings help & recognize each team member's strengths regularly checks in with you wants the best for you & the team
Type #2 Outcome Focused:
They both have different priorities.
They both have different definitions of a great employee.
The first step is to recognize which of these your boss is.
If your boss is Type #1, then: make sure you show up for all the team meetings & activities be responsive to their communication get along well with other team members and ALWAYS keep the camera on during meetings
If your boss is Type #2, then: make sure quality work is done before the deadline - all the time regularly update them on the progress raise any issues/bottlenecks immediately
And you will awe them.
The problem most people make is using Type #1 work style to Type #2 bosses and wondering why they didn't get the recognition or promotion...
Use this information & watch how your boss starts to rely more on you.
