My 6th #1 This Year | How it Happened...
First, Like most artists I work with, Robin Master came to me with some dong ideas but wanted me to help elevate and complete them to the level I have for so many major artists so he hired me to take the song ideas he had laid out in Logic Pro and add my Mr. Mig Magic. Robin is great at assembling initial ideas and vocals which makes my job as a producer/Engineer so much easier and enjoyable.
Then, I took a few of those finished songs to our label, 418 Music to get feedback and then Robin took advantage of our Remix Promo Package and we made a plan to remix the songs to fit the EDM scene so we can then do what we've been doing for years and promote the songs to 1000s of DJ's, Spotify and charts like Music Week, Billboard and more.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago when I got a call early morning from Gino Caporale at 418 Music with the news that "Lost In Love" hit #1 on iTunes in Denmark and #7 iTunes, US. This marks 20 #1's for 418 Music and 6 for me this year as a producer, songwriter and remixer for the label.
