I understand how tough it can be to make money as a recording artist or indie label these days!
You need to be able to profit as much as possible from Streams, Videos, Social Media and Downloads and not have to split the profit with anyone.
This is where my 'Beat Buyout" license comes into play.
While most producers frown at the idea of selling their beats outright to an artist, I've actually done it many many times.
It's a great option for an artist to own their music 100% and It helps take the uncertainty out of the equation for a new artist or label concerning future royalty splits.
While a beat buyout does cost you more for you upfront, there are no strings attached afterwards. It essentially becomes a work for hire between me and you.
So why do I offer beat buyouts?
I get paid more upfront and the artist is secure knowing they have full 100% usage of a beat forever with no strings attached.
Exclusive vs Buyout? Exclusive still requires a writer/publisher split 50/50 with the Producer of the beat. A buyout does not.
Fyi, I've had some artists still come back and offer me a percentage of royalties afterwards but it's not necessary on a beat buyout.
