In case you missed the last mail: They are the logical predecessor of a large and a mid-sized iris painting created for a group show back in 2019...

... and last mail we talked about my artistic connection to and ever longing passion for human anatomy.

The human iris is mysterious and strong in symbolism and is said to have mythological and spiritual qualities.

A german saying says that eyes are the gateway to our soul,
which sums it up perfectly for me.
