CPD Standards Office Accredited Teacher Training Course 'Improving Teaching Skills'
This in-service on-line course is popular! Another happy teacher today emailed me saying: Dear Ma'am, I have completed Module 1. It was a good learning experience. ....'
In one school in Delhi, India, the Principal and twenty-four of her teachers have already completed Module 1. Of people who have signed up for the whole course recently, two have reached Lesson 10 in Module 3. and will soon be awarded their CPDSO Certificate. This means they can officially record the hours on their CPD records. They will be the first to achieve this new accreditation.
If you are a Principal, you may like to work through the on-line course first, and then you will know which of your teachers would benefit most by taking the course. In one school the senior leadership team first bought the book 'Changing Education' and I joined them for their discussions on the different chapters. They then followed this up by doing the on-line course.
If you are a teacher then you could start now on Module 1, which is free. I mark your work and give you feedback. You can then move on to Module 2 and if you are a member of the senior leadership team, or hope to be so soon, you can go on to Module 3. I also mark these personally so, as it takes me time to do this, are 'paid for' courses.
