Free Upgrade to MathRider Version 5

Dear Friend,

You may already know that we released MathRider Version 5.0 earlier this year.

But if you haven't gotten the original announcement email (our email server did play up at the time), please update now.

We are getting ready for a new round of updates in Version 5.1 and I'd hate for you to miss them.

Your original purchase entitles you to all updates free. So there is nothing to pay for.

What's Changed in Version 5?

I'm glad you asked! Here are the improvements we added to the game in Version 5:

Added far greater game speed control. This has been by far the most requested feature. Shadow now slows down far more than before thanks to the addition of walk and trot animations.
All riding animations have been completely replaced with new ones, offering far smoother and nicer riding.
The adaptive speed control is now far more varied and responsive than ever before. This should add substantially to the enjoyment of riding through the Mathlands.
Questions that were failed to answer do not ALWAYS get repeated as the second-next question. Only 70% of the time. 30% of the time they will be the third-next question.
Fixed a problem where answering a question at a specific point would result in the riding freezing.
Updated the background graphics for each riding scenery.
Allow the Math Rider window to be maximized.
Added more music for better variety. This will be further expanded in future editions of MathRider V5 where music tracks will become unlockable and part of the rewards system.
Migration of V4 player statistics into the new game. Note that once you have played the new Math Rider once, you can uninstall the old MathRider game from your computer.
Many more minor tweaks and enhancements

How Do I Tell Which Version I Have Installed?

The simplest way is to look at the application icon for MathRider on your computer. If it looks like the one in the left, you're using version 4. If yours looks like the one of the right, then you're already on version 5 and there is nothing further you need to do.

I Have Version 4 - How Do I Upgrade?

Here are the steps for updating to version 5:

Step 1: Download and install MathRider V5
Visit the MathRider 5 installation page and follow the instructions on the page.

Step 2: Start MathRider V5 and enter your Registration Key
Simply start the game and enter your registration key. MathRider V5 will automatically find any previous MathRider V4 game data on the same computer and copy it into Version 5.

Step 3: Remove the old version of MathRider (optional)
We recommend to remove the old version of MathRider from your computer, since you will no longer need it. On Windows use Control Panel to do this. On the Mac, you can do this via Finder.
