State and federal legislative sessions are generally at their most active in the first part of the year. FTCLDF has been monitoring a number of bills that align with our mission. We’ve been tracking their progress and engaging with legislators and our members to lend our support to those efforts that seek to expand food freedom.

We will bring you up to date on the Farm Bill, the Prime Act, RFID electronic ear tags, avian flu in dairy cows, raw dairy bills, cottage food bills, and more. We'll discuss how these bills and policies are affecting independent farmers, ranchers, homesteaders, cottage food makers, and consumers, and we’ll talk about how you can get involved in supporting these polices.
