Isn't Wendell Berry right? Our nation's farmers are deep into the busy growing season. And those of us who are not farmers, but appreciate the work of our independent farms, are enjoying the wonderful summer bounty.
At Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund this is our busy season, too. It's when we get the most calls and emails with inquiries about regulations, herd shares, meat shares, farmers markets, cottage food businesses, agritrourism, and unfortunately, farm raids.
As a member or supporter, you help us fulfill our mission of "Protecting, defending, and broadening the rights and viability of independent farmers, artisanal food producers, and their consumers."
