But sometimes we can over-complicate things and get overwhelmed and confused instead of taking action...

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt!
But it doesn't need to be an overwhelming headache.
Despite what you have probably been told, you don't need complicated funnels to make money online.
You just need FIVE things to get started:
1. Opt-in page to tempt your prospects - I use and recommend Convertri, but you can use any page builder for this.
2. An Autoresponder service to collect the email addresses - I like GetResponse :)
3. A free Lead Magnet to give away - a cheat-sheet or check-list works well. You can use PLR, but it's best to brand it to you.
4. A way to deliver the Lead Magnet - eg a thank you page (built with the same page builder as your opt-in page)
5. Low ticket offer - you can use an affiliate product at first.
That's it.
