I went to see The Lego Batman movie yesterday, which was great fun!
It's basically a two hour advert for Lego, but does the audience mind?
No, because it's great entertainment too! Especially for a geek like me and crossovers to Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and even Doctor Who (British robots, lol!)
Which is a good marketing lesson - if you always provide value, your audience won't mind the selling part.
But first you need an audience to turn them into loyal customers...
