Fortnite, the massively popular video game was just blown up by an asteroid!
It sucked the entire game into a black hole...
And anyone visiting the website currently sees just that.
It seems that Fornite will be back when the next season launches...
But can the same be said for your email?
If it's going to spam like my recent emails did, then they're effectively going into a black hole and won't be opened.

| | Now, it's true that custom DKIM is not required to be able to send messages through your autoresponder, but their domain name will appear in the header alongside yours...
So the sender address will appear as (eg):
yourname@yoursite.com via GetResponse-mail.com
To improve deliverability you can setup a TXT record in your DNS for DKIM.
DKIM helps to prevent spam by verifying the sender of the incoming email and checking for modifications to the original message.
Here's how to do it with Namecheap but most hosts will be similar:
You will need to get the default key from your hosting company.
You can find it in Email Deliverability-> manage in cPanel
You might have to generate a DKIM first.
It will look something like this:
Name: default._domainkey.yourdomain.com
Value: v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=longstringofrandomcharacters
To setup a DKIM for your autoresponder company, you need to check their help files, but here's how to do it for GetResponse
If you are using Cloudflare, then you need to add *both* the default DKIM key as well as the DKIM key you get from your autoresponder.
ie You will have 2 DKIM records.
That's how I managed to get it to work anyway :)
Once it's all setup you can check your DKIM record here
I also setup a DMARC record. You add a TXT record the same as you did for the DKIM:
Type: TXT,
Name: _dmarc
Value: v=DMARC1; p=none
Check here to see if you did it correctly
Finally, you can check how spammy your email is with Mail-Tester
Mail-Tester gives your email a score out of 10 as well as helpful info on what's wrong and how to fix it. |
