In In Douglas Adams' 4th book in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series, "So long and thanks for all the fish" is the message left behind by the dolphins when they leave the Earth for ever... 🌎🐬

I won't give you any more spoilers, just in case, but they had reached a point where they just knew they had to leave...
