There's a great story around the origins of the word 'quiz'...
The tale goes that in 1791, the manager of a Dublin theatre made a wager... 🤝
He bet his friends that he could get a nonsense word to be spoken throughout Dublin within 48 hours.
So he duly went ahead and had the word QUIZ written in chalk on walls, doors and windows all over the city.
This understandably caused a lot of confused people discussing where this mysterious phenomena had come from... 😕
And thus he won the bet! 🥳️
❓ Is this true? I'm not sure...
But I do know that quizzes are still very popular today.
Can you resist filling in one of those "Which Disney villain are you?" type quizzes when you come across one?
Me neither.
And this is one reason that makes quizzes a great way to get leads to sign up for your list 😀
