Have you ever wondered what it would be like to pilot a remotely operated vehicle (“ROV” or underwater robot)? ROVs are used for a wide range of scientific, commercial, and military missions. From documenting shipwrecks, like Titanic, to exploring Lake Huron’s “Shipwreck Alley” in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, to servicing underwater oil structures, ROVs are an important tool in the field of marine technology. During this program, participants will learn about ROVs, explore the shipwrecks of Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, and work in teams to build and test pilot their own ROVs.

Program fee includes a visit to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the 3:00 PM ticket time. Advance registration required. Order online now or call 810-237-3409.
