Flint Cultural Center Comes Alive with Music June 15 for Juneteenth Celebrations 
Flint Cultural Center Campus Hosts Juneteenth Spotlight June 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., featuring Music, Food, and the 
Community Freedom March
Sloan Museum of Discovery, Longway Planetarium and our Flint Cultural Center campus neighbors are proud to host events on Saturday, June 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (supported, in part, by a grant from Bridging Michigan). Food trucks, vendors, and live music on the main stage will follow the opening Freedom March at 11 a.m. (starting at the corner of Crapo and E. Kearsley Streets; open to the whole community). The Spotlight at Flint Cultural Center is organized by the traditional Flint Juneteenth committee members in partnership with Sloan Museum of Discovery, Longway Planetarium, FIM, Flint Institute of Arts, and the Gloria Coles Flint Public LIbrary:

11:00 am | Freedom March (starting at Crapo and Kearsley Streets and led by the drumming band, Djembefola.
11:45 am | Black National Anthem, Performed by Jowanne Carrigan
12:00 pm | Djembefola African Drumming
1:00 pm | Mama Sol & Eclipse Band
