Camp Alpha Omega for Girls-Science in Your Backyard Date: June 27 – July 1 Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm @ Longway Planetarium Fee: $90 Ages: Entering 3rd – 6th grades Join Longway Planetarium as we partner with some of Genesee County’s best teachers! Guest teachers from the Alpha Omega chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society will be on hand as we explore life in your backyard! Bugs, birds, toads, and worms are welcome here! Visit Sloan Museum’s visiting exhibit A Bug’s World featuring giant robotic insects. Go on a garden bug hunt; learn why some bugs are welcome in the garden, and how to attract beneficial bugs. Make a bird feeder out of recycled materials and design a habitat for worms along with other fun hands-on activities. Register online.

Find a way to keep your polar bear cool, design a zoo habitat, and build a marble run. Register online.
