Community Visioning Conversation
Sunday, November 4, 3:00-5:30 p.m. Sloan Museum in the Flint Cultural Center Free event. Food will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
You are invited to join Sloan Museum, Working Actively Intentionally Together (WAIT) and the Community Foundation of Greater Flint in a Community Visioning Conversation, part of the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) project.
Residents and community members will gather along with a W.K. Kellogg consultant and participate in a guided community visioning session which will include small group discussions. Participants will discuss their visions for removing systemic racism from the Flint community, including reflection on where we are now and how we got here, and action steps to move forward. Your contributions will be used to create an action plan for the Flint community, and Sloan Museum will provide updates on future opportunities to be involved in this work.
This is a free event, and food will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Please call 810-237-3450 for reservations. You can also sign up online, but a $2 service fee will be charged. Click here to register online.
