Parent Workshops Learn how to support your child's STEM learning at home Longway Planetarium $15 per person
Parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. This year, we want to make sure that parents who are taking a more active role in their children’s education have the support they need. These workshops are designed to provide parents with an overview of grade-level science standards and science background. We’ll work through easy hands-on activities that parents can do at home with their kids. Parents will receive activity handouts and links to pre-recorded content created by Museum Educators. Materials kits will be available for a small additional fee. While parents are in the workshops, we’ll have activities for kids in a separate space.
