| Candy Vault Coding Workshop Sat., Nov. 2 10 a.m. - Noon Location: Discovery Lab Maker Space in the Sloan Museum of Discovery
FREE Workshop - Pre-registration required (no walk-ins, please) in partnership with Bosch Engineering
A fun introduction to coding for kids ages 11 to 15 years old. Kids will create a vault to keep out Halloween candy thieves (or their siblings) and then code it to flash lights and make noise if opened without their secret codes! We will be using Raspberry PI to code the vaults. Free for ages 11 - 15 years old. Limited to 20 attendees. Pre-registration is required. Register here. |
| October Lego Club - "Monster Maker"Sat., Oct. 12
10-11:30 a.m. FREE Lego-clubbers will be challenged to build their best MONSTER! Participants will draw their "monster-traits" at random and then build their creation! Lego club is FREE, included with museum general admission and open to Lego enthusiasts of all ages. Learn more. |
