New Special Traveling Exhibit Opens at Sloan Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025
"2theXtreme - A Radical Interactive Exhibit" Opens at Sloan Museum of Discovery February 1 through May 11, 2025
Sloan Museum of Discovery in the beautiful Flint Cultural Center campus debuts “2theXtreme-A Radical Interactive Exhibit” on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and will run through May 11, 2025. 

This immersive special exhibit is recommended for 8+. It will feature approximately 32 different stations where guests will participate in interactive snowboarding games, music, video, fashion, photography, cyber security design, dance, and many other activities. The interactive exhibits are organized into six themed main sections which all encourage visitors to see how math is used in their favorite everyday activities.

2theXtreme is located inside the 5000 square feet Sloan Museum FUN Gallery. Entry tickets are just $5/person, plus General Admission, and may be purchased in person at Guest Services or online at SloanLongway.org/Xtreme. (Note: as a benefit of the Arts Education & Cultural Enrichment Millage, Sloan Museum General Admission is free for all Genesee County residents, active military and their immediate family members, military veterans, teachers, and Members of Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium).

2theXtreme is produced by Evergreen Exhibitions in collaboration with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, National Society of Professional Engineers, MATHCOUNTS and the Society of Women Engineers. It is sponsored locally by the Nartel Family Foundation.
