Sloan Museum and Hurley Medical Center present REAL BODIES THE EXHIBITION, seen for the first time in Mid-Michigan, opening to the public July 7, 2023. This fascinating exhibit will intrigue curious learners, health science professionals, amateur anatomy lovers, artists who are drawn to the human form, and science fans who love to learn up-close and personal. REAL BODIES uses real bodily specimens to explore the complex inner workings of the human form in a refreshing and thought-provoking exhibit. REAL BODIES also explores how elements such as breathing, hunger, the rhythm of the heart, and other essential body functions have deep cultural and emotional significance that reach as far back as the dawn of humanity.
