New shows start this week: Laser Taylor Swift, Laser Zeppelin, and One Sky 
Longway Planetarium Premieres Three New Shows This Week

Longway Planetarium debuts a brand new laser light system tonight, January 9, and two new Laser LIght Shows. Laser Taylor Swift premieres at 7 p.m. tonight, and Laser Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Led at 8 p.m. 
The new laser light show system comes complete with haze effects to enhance the stunning laser light show under a 52 foot dome and a 7.1 surround-sound, movie grade audio system. Tickets and info at SloanLongway.org/LaserLightShows or call (810) 237-3400.  

On Friday, January 10, 6 p.m., the Second Friday live presentation will be an exploration of space exploration within our solar system as part of the "History of the Universe" series. 

For our visitors with sensitivities to sound and light, we hold sensory-friendly shows on the second Saturday of every month at 11 a.m. (doors open at 10:30 a.m.). This Saturday, January 11, the sensory-friendly show will be Accidental Astronauts.

The One Sky Project is an international collaboration to foster greater understanding of humanity’s connection to the sky. This full-dome feature compiles seven different short films that explore different indigenous perspectives while demonstrating how our one sky connects us all. Showing at 4 p.m. January 7 through June 1, 2025. Recommended for ages 10+.

You asked for it and we brought' it! A brand new laser light show system debuts at Longway Planetarium on January 9 with Laser Taylor Swift at 7 p.m. and Laser Zeppelin - A Whole Lotta Led at 8 p.m.. The two laser light shows will run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through May 10, 2025. The lights shows include haze effects for an optimal laser light show experience and surround sound under an expansive 52 foot dome. What a great way to rock out and sing along! Romance Under the Stars Returns February 14-15, 2025

Reserve your spot at the table with your sweetest! Enjoy a unique and elegant meal under the starry dome of Longway Planetarium, complete with appetizers, drinks, dinner and dessert. This popular 21+ event is available for just two nights and sells out quickly. Tickets are limited and pre-registration is required. Choose between these two evenings:
