Did you know a donation to Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium helps support the education of about 24,000 Michigan kids each year, from early childhood through high school, in STEM, social studies, literacy and history programs? Our education staff is teaching around 25-30 programs each week at partner schools, libraries, workshops, scouting groups and field trips! 2. Adopt a collectible museum car and honor a vintage car lover.

| Do you know a hard-to-buy-for car guy? Is your mom a vintage car enthusiast? Adopt a historic museum car at a discounted price at the Courtland location and we'll install a plaque with their name on it through May 15, 2022. | 3. Discounted membership for a science or history buff in your life |

| A membership* to the Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium is the perfect way to give the gift of science, history and education while contributing to ongoing exhibits and activities. Members receive perks like discounts on facility rentals, gift shop purchases and classes. Members are also eligible for free or discounted admission at over 350 ASTC science centers worldwide when traveling outside of our local area. Did you know the Longway Planetarium is the largest of its kind in Michigan? It also has been renovated with cushy, large chairs that recline so the visitor can gaze comfortably up into the dome as they delight in the new Digistar 7 images that bring the galaxies to life. Now, you can purchase a permanent engraved plaque for the back of a planetarium chair honoring the astronomy enthusiast in your life or a community business.
