| Enjoy a car show featuring vehicles who have celebrated their golden 50th anniversary, free for both car owners and eventgoers. This very special event is exclusively for original or authentically restored vehicles produced in 1972 or earlier. No visible modifications are allowed. Golden Memories is non-competitive, so there will be no judging; just a relaxing day with friends and fellow car enthusiasts who love well-preserved and restored automobiles.
HIGHLIGHTS • The first 160 vehicles receive dash plaques. • Drawings every hour for two free hot dogs and an ice cream cone. • Suitcase Swap Meet: Vehicle owners can sell or trade item(s) small enough to fit into a suitcase next to their vehicle. • Vehicle Owner’s Choice Award: Vehicle owners can vote for the award winner. • Youngest Registrant Award: Given to the youngest registrant, this award inspires younger generations to keep our golden memories alive. • Special recognition for cars 50, 75, & 100 years-old with a pass-in review. • Next year’s dash plaque winner is selected through a lottery-style drawing.
The Sloan Museum will open at 9am for this event. Trailer parking will be available and the show will continue to be the same, laid-back, DJ-free event that you love.
Congratulations to our 2021 dash plaque featured vehicle a 1954 Pontiac Chieftain owned by Tom Meyer of Flushing, Michigan!
