| There are still a few spots left for the "Earth Rocks" Webelos Scout workshop on
Your Webelos Scouts will explore the science of geology while digging into the world of rocks and minerals and become a rock hound while hunting for rocks around the planetarium. Using a magnifying glass, they'll take a closer look at their collection and identify the rocks they found. They'll make their own mineral test kit to test the hardness of rocks based on the Mohs scale, use maps to find geological features in your area, and identify different geological materials used in the building of your home and community. Conduct a crystal garden earth science demonstration.
