RMS Titanic, Inc. (now a division of Premier Exhibitions) conducted the first recovery expedition of the Titanic in 1987. Since, the company completed 7 other expeditions with a total of 157 dives. Paul Henry Nargeolet, Director of Underwater Research for RMS Titanic, Inc. will describe their manned submersible Nautile, the science and technology behind their dives, and how they recover artifacts. Hear about the biggest technical challenge of their expeditions - how they recovered a 20 ton piece of the hull! Learn about how artifacts are treated and restored before they can be exhibited.
