Juneteenth is now a Federal Holiday. Our community has celebrated every year for the past 50 years! Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium are honored to partner and host a portion of the Juneteenth festivities for a second year at our campus.

| Grand Opening Weekend for Sloan Museum of Discovery July 16-17! |

| Exciting times for Mid-Michigan! After nearly five years of planning, designing, and constructing, the new Sloan Museum of Discovery will open to the public on Grand Opening Weekend July 16-17, 2022! Thanks to the Genesee County Arts, Education and Cultural Millage, this totally re-imagined, world-class, hands-on science and history museum will be free general admissionfor Genesee County residents! However, a timed ticket for all visitors will still be required for grand opening weekend. Online tickets will be available starting July 1.

Open: Tuesdays-Sundays (NOTE: No 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. shows on June 7)
Closed: Mondays. Each show lasts approximately 45 minutes. **Ticket prices will increase, effective July 1, 2022. |

Sloan Museum of Discovery and Flint Cultural Center Campus 1221 E. Kearsley St., Flint Vehicle registration for the 2022 show is now open! More information or register online at SloanAutoFair.com. Register by June 19 and save $5 per vehicle. Registration opens at 7 a.m. both days. Your registration fee helps Sloan Museum maintain, purchase, and restore vehicles.
