During this hands-on session you will have the opportunity to build your own watershed and experiment with the impacts of runoff pollution, sedimentation, and wetland restoration on water quality. Learn more about innovative research and policy approaches to water quality improvements in the Saginaw Bay watershed and the Great Lakes. Discuss the future of community engagement on water resource issues in a world where clean fresh water is becoming an increasingly valuable resource. *This session will involve hands activities working with clay, water, food coloring, and soil.
