| | CLUTCH
The hard-rock giants from the US join the line-up of Pol'and'Rock Festival. Their sound is imbued with unique creative freedom and extraordinary musical power. Clutch will be a perfect fit for the massive audience of Pol'and'Rock Festival 2020.
Maryland rockers have been pushing the boundaries of heavy rock music since 1991 when the four original members got together in school. The band's debut came in 1993 with the release of their first LP "Transnational Speedway League". Clutch went on to release 12 albums, each of them traversing a different scope of inspirations: from alt-rock albums of the 90s, psychedelic vibe of the early noughties and acoustic folk and blues from the turn of the first decade of the new millennium
Throughout the years of creative exploration, Clutch has honed their very own, robust and diverse sound. Having been tagged as hard rock, blues rock, southern stoner rock, and alternative metal by the media and fans across the world, it is safe to say that Clutch are a musical force that has been best described as a quintessential American rock band.

| | WHILE SHE SLEEPS
Summer this year this British metalcore outfit will step on to the stage, which welcomed Bring Me The Horizon in 2016 and Parkway Drive and Crossfaith in 2019. While She Sleeps will continue the fantastic tradition of bands which redefine metal music on the Main Stage at Pol'and'Rock Festival, bringing some of their trademark raw power and frenzied energy.
Established in 2006 in Sheffield, the band is best known for their relentless touring schedule and no-holds-barred live shows. Named the Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards in 2012, the group went on to release four acclaimed albums and perform at Download Festival, Vans Warped Tour of the US and Canada, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Hellfest.
Some bands play it safe when it comes to taking their next steps. But then, While She Sleeps have never been "some band". The Sheffield quintet has made a career of confounding expectations, be it through a blend of crushing metal, guttural hardcore and arena-worthy hooks, or how they've carried themselves over an explosive 14-year career.

| | KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD
The stats on King Gizzard’s colourful career are stacking up fast: 15 albums in 7 years (including five in 2017 alone), 10 of them charting in the Top 20 in Australia, where they are now arguably the country’s most innovative, important and productive rock band. International critical acclaim. Headline festival appearances.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are an extraordinary band. Formed in Melbourne, Australia, by a group of friends in 2010, the band released 15 studio albums, producing a whopping 5 LPs in 2017 alone. Working at a feverish pace, the band has blazed through music genres, mooring their sound in the psychedelic rock explosion of the 1960s.
Each of the band's 15 albums follows a different and experimental path: from the garage rock-inspired EPs from 2011, jazz-rock cosmic tracks on EP "Quarters", counterpointed by the softer, acoustic pop sounds of " Paper Mache Dream Balloon" from 2015, and atmospheric blues to heavy, thrash metal tracks on "Planet B" from 2019.

| | DROPKICK MURPHYS
A band which is built on authenticity and committed to social involvement is a suiting first act to be announced by Pol'and'Rock Festival, which is a non-commercial event.
The first act to be announced at the 2020 edition of the biggest non-commercial festival in Europe is the Boston born and bred Dropkick Murphys. The band is currently working on its new album, to be released in the autumn of 2020. They will he release the first single from the album on 31 January.
Established in 1996 in southern suburbs of Boston by bassist Ken Casey, the outfit combines hardcore punk with Celtic folk music. Dropkick Murphys merge hardcore, which is faster-paced, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock with Irish folk tunes. Traditional Celtic folk instruments such as bodhran, tin whistle, and bagpipes join electric guitars and percussion in their high-energy, high-power live performances. Dropkick Murphys take the traditional sea shanties to the next level, turning them into fighting anthems for generations of music fans across the world.
