Luxtorpeda to open Woodstock Festival Poland this year!
Formed in 2010, Luxtorpeda is the brainchild of Robert Friedrich, a.k.a. Litza, a guitar player and vocalist famous for his work with bands such as Acid Drinkers, Turbo, Flapjack, Arka Noego, 2Tm2,3 and KNŻ. Released on May 9th 2011, the band’s debut album entitled “Luxtorpeda” aptly combines the sounds of garage, punk and rock.
The year 2012 saw Luxtorpeda play a selection of major Polish gigs next to huge international bands such as Slayer, Metallica, Machine Head, POD, Motörhead, Limp Bizkit and Sabbaton. In the same year, the band received „The Golden Spinning Top” – a prize for the best concert awarded by the audience of Woodstock Festival Poland. A year later, Luxtorpeda once again received three “Fryderyk” nominations and was awarded by “Teraz Rock” and “Metal Hammer”. On April 1st 2014, Luxtorpeda released its 3rd album “A Morał Tej Histori Mógłby Być Taki, Mimo Że Cukrowe To Jednak Buraki”.
