Friend,
All week I've been talking about copyright - what it is, why we need it, how to avoid violating someone else's copyright, and what to do if someone infringes on your copyright.
Well, today's email is more of a public service announcement...
I'm sure you all know who Matt Page is, a.k.a. "Master Ken." I've shared his videos several times in the newsletter and on my Facebook page.
Lately, he's been having some issues with piracy. People have been taking his videos and rebranding them, and using them on their own Facebook pages and other social media sites.
It may not seem like a big deal, but YouTube content creators get paid by YouTube according to how many views their videos receive. So, when a YouTube personality is bleeding views due to piracy, that means they have less money to continue producing their show.
So, I'm just passing this along...
That is all. Have a great weekend!
Until next time,

P.S. - I'm interviewing one of my coaching clients next week for the podcast. This individual has gone from 50 to 150 students over the course of the last 18 months, after running a dojo that was "just getting by" for years. I think you're going to want to hear his story. Keep an eye out for that podcast episode, because it's going to be a good one.
