Friend,
When most people think of low-cost marketing ideas for martial art schools, they're thinking of things like fliers, snipe/yard signs, and the like.
But some of the best low-cost marketing you can do for your school involves getting out in your local community and being seen.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of doing demonstrations. They're a pain to do, and frankly I don't think they're the best way to attract students to your school.
However, there are other ways to get out in your community to increase your visibility. Here are a few ideas that I used when I was growing my first studio.
Until next time,

P.S. - If you're going to do a demo, make sure you have a booth or table set up nearby to collect leads and hand out info. Otherwise, it's going to be a waste of time and effort.
