Subject: Today's Tip & Interesting Odds Moves...

We managed a nice winner on our first day from Solsticia, who went off at 13/2 and ran clear by a good 3 lengths at the finish line...

Since then, I've had quite a number of requests for daily email alerts for Lucrative Tips, so we're currently setting this up and it should be ready in a couple of days.

For the time being, you can...

One thing I found interesting about Solsticia yesterday, was that the odds drifted considerably in the run-up to the off...

The best odds were 5/1 when I posted the tip, but had drifted out to 13/2 by race start...and the BSP was even in the double figures at 10.1.

I find this interesting because, as someone who provides tips for a living, one of the things I've been wary of in the past is sharing information with too many people...

Logic dictates that too many people placing the same bet will drive down the price.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say at least a few hundred of our readers got on Solsticia yesterday. Nevertheless, the price didn't steam, it drifted.

What can we make of this?!

Perhaps it it takes more than just a few hundred people placing the same bet to upset the odds?

Perhaps most of our readers placed their bets with various bookmaker firms, and not the exchange seeing as the liquidity for French racing is poor?

One thing I did notice was that, of the few mainstream tipsters that are covering racing in France, most of them advised the favourite Ebaiyra...

And as it happens, the price for this runner did drop significantly throughout the morning...

So perhaps thousands of people follow the advice of mainstream tipsters, and it takes thousands of bets to drive down the price?

Some food for thought, at any rate.

Best of luck today,
Michael and the Lucrative Racing team
