The race was won by 74.83 BSP shot Ancient Rome - an extremely difficult one to predict! ...
We did a little better elsewhere across our premium services, with a nice winner from Lord Riddiford in the first and also Purple Lily over at Galway...
But with not-so-great a performance from Lucrative Tips in July, let's try and get back to winning ways as we move into August...
Today's selection is in the Sussex Stakes, and we're taking on the red-hot favourite Paddington which may prove a tad foolish, which is why we've opted to go each way...
An alternate angle would be to bet in the "without Paddington" market...
