Qualifiers: 19 Winners: 3 Strike Rate: 15.8% Profit: 6.02 points ROI: 29.5% The above stats are based on placing all bets to win only, but we had a few placed runners at high odds, and going each way at 7/1 or over would have almost doubles our overall returns...
Nothing ground breaking this year, but a conservative profit secured nonetheless...
Our jockey angles, on the other hand, didn't perform as expected this year...
However, as I always feel the need to re-iterate, finding a profit over a five day period is a tough job. Profiting over the long term is a far more realistic aim, and should be the main focus of our betting endeavours...
Seasons & years, not days and weeks...
