We had a bit of a disaster in our first race today - the 13:11 at Lingfield - with our selection Running Cloud almost failing to leave the stalls which put him WAY behind from the get-go...
Still, he ran well to finish 4th and would have done a whole lot better (perhaps even won?) had it not been for the false-start...
The evens favourite Aljaryaal was pipped to the post by 13/2 shot Moel Arthur - yet another example of a strong favourite turned over by a horse with limited form...just 3 career races and no previous wins.
Not to worry, we've 4 selections still to go and the next is in the 15:25 which starts in just 30 mins...
