A whopping 72% of members requested a break over Christmas this year, with 42% of the total vote going for the later set of dates...
So here's the plan...
Saturday 23rd Dec - Last day of betting Sunday 24th Dec - Holiday begins Sunday 31st Dec - Holiday Ends Monday 1st Jan - Betting resumes
Since there are no racing fixtures on the 24th & 25th anyway, and boxing day is definately one to miss in my opinion (low quality racing, too many meetings), it's technically only a four day break...
This also gives me a chance to get results updates, our end of year reviews, and any planned changes for 2018 posted in time for the beginning of the new year...
