With everything seemingly going well for the unrighteous, it may sometimes seem they have it made. All while you keep struggling and waiting for God to answer just one prayer!
Today’s devotional titled “God Will Do It!” is based on David’s reflections on Psalm 37:1.
You can feel depressed, helpless, and cheated when trying to do the right thing. Sometimes you’re left with the feeling that God has abandoned you.
Don’t believe those feelings.
God never leaves you and neither is He ignoring your prayers. He’ll say yes at the right time but until then, you need to trust Him. He wants you to draw nearer, trust, and delight in Him while He straightens your path.
The way of the wicked may look bright, beautiful, and swift, but it’s only temporary and its end is death. However, the way of the righteous is enduring, long-lasting, and victorious! Just as the Lord delights in our Joy, He wants us to delight in Him too. We can delight in him as we remember what He has done for us and what He has promised to do.
